Pediatric Work, Science and The World

As people head into college, there are many majors that you could choose from. These include medicine, law, and other popular majors. Personally, I would like to study medicine and become a pediatrician, a doctor that helps children. To study medicine, you would have to take a variety of classes including science and biology.

Although science should be used in a good way, it is not in our society. Modern scientific disciplines are dominated by an evolutionary worldview.Evolution is the process by which different kinds of organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth. This idea was created by Charles Darwin. Ever since this idea developed, science and biology have changed.

Non-Christian professors teach this theory in many secular colleges today. The idea of evolution is that over billions and billions of year there was a big bang which created this big ball of something, Earth. Over another billions and billions of years there was a little cell that developed making apes and eventually making man. This view really does not have any facts to prove that it is true. If this happened, wouldn’t we have any facts to prove it? No, because we didn’t have any source of data that could have been recorded billions of years ago.

As Christians, we have Scripture to substantiate that Creation is true. This includes Genesis 1 and 1 Corinthians 15:39,”All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.” We should look to these verses to show non-Christians that evolution isn’t the right way to go. What facts actually back up this fact? No facts at all! I am not saying that when you meet an evolutionist in college to yell at them for what they believe in. Just tolerate what they have to say.

In college, you will be exposed to many different things and in life you will be exposed to many different cultures. Make sure that when you make decisions they are in the eyes of God and not in the eyes of sin because sin will only bring you away from God.
