Jesus in Creation

The book of Genesis is a very important book in the Bible, it is not only because it is the first book in the Bible, it also described how did God created the world, animals, plants and human beings.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. On the first day, He created light, He separated light from the darkness, then there were morning and evening. On the second day, God said: “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” Then rivers, lakes and seas appeared. On the third day, God said: “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” Then He created vegetations and plants. On the fourth day, God said: “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth.” And there were four seasons came to be; spring, summer, autumn, winter. On the fifth day, God said: “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” Then He created animals. On the sixth day, God created human beings, He blessed them: “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” On the seventh day, God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.

After God created Adam and Eve, He told them: “You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.” But Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree. They became evil, so we are sin.

We deserve to die, but Christ died for our sin, so we have a second chance to live.
