Do you use your time wisely when doing homework? Speaking of time, remember to set your clocks an hour ahead on March 9 for daylight savings. Back to my question, do you use your time productively? Do we get things that need to be done, quickly and accurately or do we waste time playing pointless video games or being on our phones? On a personal level, I sometimes struggle to use my time effectively when it comes to my homework.
Here are some ways that you can get your homework done faster: One: plan how long it should take to get the assignment done. Set a schedule for yourself and try your hardest to follow it daily. Don’t let yourself waste time, because time never comes back. Two: gather supplies and bring them into a quiet space. Try to work on a table, if you go to your bedroom you might get lazy or distracted, I know this is true for me. Three, remove any sources of distraction such as cellphones, iPods, television and etc. Finally, organize your homework, estimate how long it will take you to complete each subject and try to the hard work fast to get it out of the way.
God commands us in Colossians 3:23-24 that” Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving” even with little things, such as the usage of time in which we can serve the Lord. This verse is saying that in everything we do, we need to work to the best to our abilities. Whether it is managing our time wisely or doing homework.
My challenge for you is to manage your time more wisely when you are doing your homework. Also, do it with a heart of willingness because remember whatever you are doing you are not serving humankind but you are working for the Lord.
