RCS BOY’S NCS SOCCER PLAYOFFS TODAY!

soccer redwoodA hearty Talon congratulations to the RCS boy’s soccer team. They’ve made it into the NCS playoffs!

And what a perfect day for it! Interestingly enough, on this day (November 6) in 1869, the first intercollegiate soccer game took place between Rutgers and Princeton. Rutgers won, 6-4.

Also on this day in history, Lincoln was elected President in 1860. Don’t know what that might have to do with soccer, but there it is.

So “Go Redwood!”

The first game will be this afternoon at 3:30 right here at Redwood against Geyserville High School!

Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for students. Come out just for kicks and have a ball!
